Overview

Ben Venue (translated small mountain) is a Graham with twin top which towers above the Trossachs landscape.  This walk takes the track past Ledard Farm passing a fine pool and waterfall where Sir Walter Scott worked on his notes for Rob Roy and Waverley.  From the summit on a clear day there are lovely views of Loch Katrine, Crianlarich Hills, Loch Lomond Hills and the peaks of Arrochar Alps.  Watch out for wild goats on this walk.  Walk can be boggy and wet in places so appropriate footwear required.

Returning same way back to cars.
