Just when you think a walk has it all.... we start out from Romsey - a beautiful town, taking in the canal, across the wildlife reserve and spend a lot of the day dancing around the beautiful River Test. And then to top it all.... a Stone Circle!
This walk is mostly on the flat with a number of stiles to traverse. If the weather has been wet in the run up to the walk, there is potential for mud!
There are a also a couple of sections on road with no pavement. There is the possibility for the roads to be busy.
Some of the fields may have livestock in them. Well behaved dogs are welcome on leads.
Bring refreshments for two stops - one mid-morning coffee break and lunch just after the half-way point.
The walk ends in Romsey Town Centre where there are a multitude of cafes, pubs and, if the weather is good, ice cream!
