We will meet at Edzell Muir Car Park. Walking to the River North Esk we follow the west bank path to the bridge at Gannochy on the B966 which we cross. This river also follows the Highland Boundary fault for a while. Going through the Blue Door and follow the path along the East Bank to the Rocks of Solitude. Returning alongside the minor Glenesk road. Re-crossing the B966 road bridge and following the West Bank to Edzell.
We are following (good, but sometimes uneven) walking paths and also alongside and crossing B roads.
