We will meet at the Benrinnes Distillery ( Visitor’s Car Park is at the rear of the Building ). This will be a linear walk so the leader will arrange with some of the drivers to move cars to the end of the route.
Terrain: Good tracks at first. Boggy and heathery paths on the upper sections, some deeper heather – paths faint in places. Quite steep descent with loose gravel in parts.

Booking is essential. Please contact the walk leader David Christie using the contact details provided to book, or if you have any questions, by the Thursday evening prior to the walk. Confirmation of your booking is required for attendance. It is essential for the walk leader to know who is coming on the walk and to be able to contact people should there be any changes. Please remember to contact the walk leader if you are no longer able to attend.
Additional details
Good walking boots, gaiters advisable and waterproofs essential. Bring food and drink. Walking poles are also recommended.
Parking - parking is available.
Toilets – Public toilets are en-route at Huntly. There are no public toilets listed in Dufftown (although some businesses may allow use ).
