An easy, leisurely-paced flat (but with some steps) walk of 5.5 miles from the village of Bourne End along the River Thames passing Bourne End marina with a brief detour through a nature reserve and then on to Little Marlow before returning to the river path to reach Marlow, visiting the lock with a view across to the bridge. If you watch 'The Marlow Murder Club' this walk is for you!
Food: bring a picnic lunch; possible cafe stop at the end of the walk.
Travel: Elizabeth Line leaving Tottenham Court Road at 10.41, Bond Street at 10.43, Paddington at 10.47, Ealing Broadway at 10.56 and arriving Maidenhead at 11.26; change at Maidenhead for the 11.34 GWR service, arriving at Bourne End at 11.45. Buy a day return ticket to Marlow. Freedom pass holders travel free to Maidenhead on the Elizabeth Line so only need to buy a return from Maidenhead to Marlow.
