Overview

After getting the train to Bournemouth the party will walk back to Christchurch by going down through Horseshoe Common, visiting St. Peter's Church, and down through the Winter Gardens to the Pier. Then it is along the top of the cliff and down to Boscombe Pier. Climbing back up the next section to West Southbourne is also on the top of the cliff then down a zig-zag to the promenade and along to Hengistbury Head.  Joining the Stour Valley Path the route passes through Wick, where the ferry will be used (fare £1), and along the river to the Priory.
