CRANBORNE DROVES WAY: MARTIN DOWN TO COOMBE BISSETT

There will need to be a prompt start as there is a bus to catch. This walk starts at the Martin Down Nature Reserve Car Park signposted off the A354. From there the walk will go north for 2.4 miles to Bowerchalke via Kitt's Grave and Marleycombe Hill. The party will then catch the 11.02, No 29 Bus to Coombe Bissett. Then it is 8.25 miles back to the start, going first to Stratford Tony to join the Cranborne Droves Way. From there it is a climb to Faulston Down and then a cross-field bridleway to join the main ridge to Cow Down Hill before returning via Kitt's Grave to Martin Down. A wide variety of landscapes and views weather permitting. Nothing on route so bring food and ample drink.
