Overview

This is a 10.5 mile walk from Bridge, that saviours the delights of the undulating countryside of orchards, parkland and woodland on the outskirts of the city of Canterbury.

Heading in a clockwise direction, we initially set off towards Bekesbourne, before turning southwards to pass Squirrel Mills Trig point. We then continue onward through woodland to the south of Adisham and across Barham Downs. When we reach Kingston, there will no doubt be a pit stop at the Black Robin and opportunities also for our picnic lunch to be consumed.

We return to Bridge via the Elham Valley Way, as this delightful stretch passes through Charlton Park, Bishopsbourne & Bourne Park.

Walk leader is Steve Bourne
