From Broadbottom Station the route will include Hodgfold, Bothams Hall, Near Cloughside, Benfield Clough, Compstall, Etherow Country Park, Ernocroft, Sandy Lane and the Cown Edge way back to Broadbottom.
We will adjourn afterwards to the Harewood Arms where we will be welcomed by their cosy fires and indulge in a mince pie and possibly some excellent real ales!
Anyone wishing to get the train should catch either the 9.03 or 9.33 from Manchester Piccadilly. Return trains are on the hour and half hour.
