Overview

This attractive slightly shorter than usual weekend walk route takes in heathland, woodland and a former railway line. It is relatively flat and there is the option to shorten by taking the 5 minute train ride back from Sway to Brockenhurst.

The meeting point is in the station car park just past the train tracks. Car parking is chargeable at £4-30 for all day payable by cash, card or Ringo. If paying by cash or card there is a machine near the station entrance. There is a small convenience fee for paying by Ringo. There may be some free roadside parking available nearby and there is of course the option to go green for the day and let the train take the strain.
