Overview

An easy, flat walk starting from the Swan pub, Brownhills where we will gain an understanding of why Brownhills is so-called. We walk to Clayhanger, then across fields to Pelsall. We join the Wyrley & Essington Canal, then north on the Cannock Extension Canal. Leaving the canal, we skirt the top of Wyrley Common then a short stretch by the side of the A5 before returning to the pub.
