We are the South Birmingham Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This is an easy walk and will be led at a relaxed pace. There are no significant inclines (which suits me fine!).
Park at The Malt Shovel pub, Bubbenhall, CV8 3BW. Allow plenty of journey time via junction 15 of the M40 and the A46.

OS Explorer 221 – 8.5 miles.
The first part of the walk takes us south along the Shakespeare Avon and Millenium Ways. After an hour, we’ll have our usual tea/coffee break, then walk east to Hunningham, then north-east to Wappenbury. Depending on progress, we’ll stop at one or other village church for lunch.
Ground conditions were good on the recce but do come prepared if there has been significant rain prior to the walk. Car share if possible, and it would be courteous if some of us stayed for a drink after the walk.
