Join us on this walk from the delightful village of Calver up steep-sided Coombs Dale. We ascend gradually to about 360 metres above sea-level on Longstone Edge and will hopefully enjoy stunning views from there. This area of moorland was a perilous place to be in the 17th and 18th centuries, as highwaymen were common. The most notorious was known as Black Harry.
PLEASE NOTE - Please book, by text, with the walk leader by 8 am on the day of the walk.
NO DOGS, except assistance dogs please.
Ramblers members from other Ramblers groups are welcome to join us.
Please wear walking boots and bring a waterproof. Please bring plenty to eat and drink. Please carry a completed ICE card (go to our website, click Walks, then click What to Bring).
