Start time 1030. 4.2 miles 94 ft ascent. This walk is virtually flat with no stiles, we start from the road leading to Chelford Station and walk a short distance along the main road before crossing the fields to Chelford Heath. Then a short distance along the main road past Promontory Wood. We will walk across the fields towards Astle Farm and down Stubby Lane to walk between the disused pits. We then walk across more fields and around the housing estate to get back to the start. Remember a drink and a snack. I can give lifts from Macclesfield.
