We are the East Cheshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk goes along the canal to Bridge 18 and then up to Green Farm, we will go along past West Park Lodge and then from Green Close up to Moorside and Keepers Cottage which is a climb of nearly 1,000 ft. We will decend down Birchencliff and back to Canal Bridge 18 via Lockgate Farm and return along the canal. I measured it at 6.5 miles but may be slightly out as I set off home before closing app!
