Overview

Twin Peaks - a tribute to the late great David Lynch. This strenuous walk of 16 miles / 25.75 kms and 3356 ft / 1023m of ascent actually takes in three of our lovely local peaks - Shuttlingsloe, Tegg’s Nose and White Nancy.

Meet at Standing Stone Car Park at 9.30 (note earlier time due to the length of the walk).

The route (subject to recce) Standing Stone car park - Buxtor’s Hill - Shuttlingloe (or diversion) - Wildboarclough - Higher Nabbs - Lower Nabbs Farm - Greenway Bridge - Oakenclough - Hanging Gate - Gritstone Trail - Bottoms and Teggsnose Reservoir - Tegg’s Nose - Windyway House - Bull-Hill-Lane - Kerridge Ridge - White Nancy - Waulkmill Farm - Rainow - Horden Farm - Walker Barn - Warrilowhead - Forest Chapel - Standing Stone car park.

Please bring poles, refreshments, and plenty to eat and drink.

No dogs due to livestock in fields.
