Overview

This is a walk of around 6.2 miles, starting from the picturesque village of Chilham, that we have previously done as an summer evening walk.

We head out through Chilham Square on the North Downs Way, rising gradually as we proceed along Mountain Street. We then join a byway for a more steady ascent, to reach the edge of King's Wood.

The circuit drops down through Godmersham Park, and there are great views as we descend, before making our return leg back to Chilham via Catha's Seat. There are a couple of pubs in Chilham at the walk finish, for those wishing to participate in post walk drinks.

Dogs welcome on short lead when required.
