Overview

WALK INFO: The walk follows Wat’s Dyke way into Oswestry town centre. We climb steadily out of the town into the Brogyntyn Estate where we stop for coffee. From there we descend to Penylan lane and follow Oswald’s trail back to the Great Weston.

The walk follows roads, tracks and fields, some of which contain livestock. There are 3 stiles, mud in places, but also some spectacular views. 4.3 miles, leisurely, with approx 300 ft of ascent, but nothing too steep. Please bring coffee but not lunch. For those who have pre-booked lunch, we aim to be back at the Great Weston for 1pm . ALL walkers welcome on the walk.

Please note - there will be no rendezvous at Morrisons beforehandMeet at 10.30am in the car park of our lunch venue - The Great Weston, Weston Lane, Weston, Oswestry SY10 9ER.
