Taxal. Layby off A5004 SK23 7JX

///kilt.abundance.spends5 miles (8.0 km) Moderate-

This walk starts at 10 am and is a 5 mile moderate walk. The height climbed is 1000 feet over 3 longish ascents. The walk is almost entirely along bridleways farm tracks and quiet lanes. Hence there is no mud. There are several stiles, but nothing challenging. We walk across to Elnor Lane and then down to the river walk along the Goyt till we reach the reservoir which we cross over to the other side. We walk up to the Midshires way, which we walk along for a short distance before reaching Taxal Moor Road then back across fields, past the church and up to the cars. I am happy to give people a lift from Macclesfield and also to answer any questions. Contact me, ideally by text, on (07909) 682098
