We are the East Cheshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Route - Brookbottom, The Banks, Mellor Cross, Rachel's Stile (morning break), Primrose Lane, Birchenough, Moorend, Hilltop Farm, Hambleton Fold Farm, Chatterton, Mellor Church (lunch), Bottom's Hall, Goyt Way back to cars.
After an initial steady climb up to Brookbottom and a steeper climb up to Mellor Cross, the walk is just gently undulating.
After lunch, we go through the recently planted Dark Peak Vineyard.
No dogs, please, as there is livestock in fields.
