Overview

From Godalming we will follow the Wey and then turn north through gently rising woods and paths and then across farmland to Compton.  We then make our way past Polsted Manor to walk along the North Downs Way with fine countryside views to our lunch stop at Artington (pub).  The afternoon starts with a steep, but short descent to the Wey and then across to Shalford Park followed by woods and some pretty lanes to the Wey towpath and flat walking back to Godalming.
