A lovely 5.5 mile linear rail to ramble walk from Berrylands Station along a section of the Hogsmill River into Ewell West Station.
Route: Down Surbiton Hill Park - going through Elmbridge Meadows before we cross the A3 underpass into Long Meadow where the route continues to the lovely St. Johns The Baptist Church, we continue along the river where we will stop for a coffee stop or lunch at the Toby Carvery along Old Malden Lane. We will eventually continue into Tolworth Nature Reserve before crossing Ruxley Lane and heading into a lovely section by Ewell Court Park and Ponds where we will stop again at The Secret Garden Cafe for additional break. We finish through the Hogsmill Tunnel into Bourne Hall library where we get train back from Ewell West. Please be responsible for your own travel logisitics.
The walk is flat with no stiles or hills and will suit all levels of walker.
This is our 3rd in a series of Neurodiverse Friendly Walks, everyone is welcome but the walk in particular will suit those with ADHD, Autism etc. Dogs welcome but on leads please.
Meeting at 11.00am outside Berrylands station, where we will wait till 11.20am for any late comers. To help newcomers identify the group I will be wearing a cap and florescent jacket.
For those driving all parking is free around the residential areas Chiltern Drive, Roystons among more. No permits or paid parking is required. K2 Bus stops from Kingston.
Friendly, inclusive group and staff have lived or professional experiences with Neurodiverse experiences. Feel free to engage in as little or as much as you like!
