We are the Aberystwyth Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From Penrhyncoch Post Office ascend towards Cefn Llan before turning E towards Cwm Bwa & across fields to Penbontrhydybeddau. The bridleway up to Penrhiwnewydd is steepish but short with good views from the top. After the climb a descent on minor roads to Salem & Broginin farm & across fields to Cwrt Garage. (Those that do not wish to go more than 4 miles can easily walk the half mile back along the road to the start from here.) Another ascent up Cwrt lane then down to Rhydypennau. Then via Ruel Uchaf & Ruel Fach to Bryncastell. Cross the A487 to ascend hill , then via Llwyngronw back to Penrhyncoch.
