Overview

A varied walk starting from the Ram in Ibstock through woodland, over farmland and picking up a part of the Leicestershire Round. There will be some quiet road walking along the way.

Toilets will be available at the start

8 stiles will be encountered along the walk.

Parking is at the public car park opposite the Ram, but limited parking will be available at the Ram if the car park is full

This part of North West Leicestershire has many varied and interesting pathways and trails including the Leicestershire Round and National Forest Way. Odstone is situated on an affluent of the river Anker and the Ashby Canal. As like many villages in the area Odstone has a Scandinavian heritage.
