We are the Uttlesford Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Starting from the Fox and Hounds in Steeple Bumpstead, we’ll walk along quiet lanes and hedgerows, by woodland, across open fields with wide open vistas. The route takes us through the impressive Moyn’s Park estate and by the grand Elizabethan country house. At the time of posting, there was very little mud. There are no stiles and no steep ascents or descents.
For those who wish to have lunch after the walk, please send pre-orders to the walk leader by Tuesday 7th April - it’s only a small pub and may not be able to accept orders on the day. Please see the web link or the text below for the menu.
The pub may not be open before the start of the walk so there may not be access to their toilets.
