The walk starts from the Tittesworth reservoir visitor centre and heads up over the fields to the Roaches where we will climb up onto the ridge. We descend at Roach End and make our way downhill towards Roche Grange and then Thorneyleigh Farm. From there we make our second ascent of the walk, but more gentle, up onto Gun Hill where there are spectacular views back across to the Roaches and the reservoir. The route back takes us through Meerbrook.
There are a couple of car parks at the reservoir, but we will meet outside the visitor centre where there are toilets and a cafe. Car park charges are £7 and the machines take contactless payments, with a couple also accepting cash.
