We are the Retford Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

From the car park at Duncan Wood we will walk on little used paths through woodlands to reach Clumber Bridge, and then to the visitor centre for coffee.
We will then follow the paths along the lakeside and through woods to Hardwick. Heading south west, we arrive at South Lodge for our lunch break.
A woodlands walk takes us back to our cars.
Paths are mainly good with just a few short wet sections.
Good waterproof footwear is recommended.
Please bring food and drinks for our 2 breaks.
Toilets are available at the visitor centre and at Hardwick.
From Chapelgate turn left just before the Olde Sun Inn into the car park.
Drive through Clumber on Lime Tree Avenue,at Carburton turn left onto B6034. Look for bus shelters on each side of the road and the blue national cycle network sign. Turn left into car park. Note: there are large puddles in the car park!
