Overview

From Daneshill Lakes car park we walk to Sutton Church and on to Lound passing The Gate Inn which stands at what would have been the gate to Sutton Common. From Lound we take Neatholme Lane (Neat is old English for cattle and Holme is a meadow which floods) to Wild Goose Farm and then make our way, across fields, to Common Lane, Ranskill and from there back to Daneshill. There are a few ups and downs along the way but this is generally a flat walk.
