We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The route follow local paths to the Whitchurch Road before turning swiftly eastwards through the recreation ground and joining the byway heading south in the direction of Hannington Scrubs, which we skirt and then turn right at the junction with Meadham Lane..
We leave Meadham Lane via Meadham Copse and pass Freemantle Park Farm before walking close to the Wireless Station and then descending across Freemantle Park Down to reach the Park House Stables gallops and the footpath back into Kingsclere.
Please bring a snack and drink for a mid-walk break.
