Overview

Join us for some Pre Christmas Family Fun taking the 10.15 Cremyll Ferry from Royal William Yard to walk up past Edgcumbe House , climbing wall and the Deer Park before crossing fields to Maker Heights via the redoubt for great coastal views and a walk around the monument. Picnic stop at the Barracks for lunch, coffee etc and then a steep path descent to Anderton Lane to follow the lake side and field paths via Empacombe back to Cremyll for pub stop/ice cream, coffee and cake, beach play  before the ferry home.

 A stretch of road walking along the lakeside , otherwise field and coast paths. One steep descent, partially hand railed.

Meet at Royal William Yard @10.00 am for 10.15 ferry. 

Parking can be difficult, as there is the Christmas Fayreb at Mt Edgcumbe, so allow time extra for Richmond Walk or road parking by CFE . (or by bus or walk down )

Alternatively meet at Cremyll Ferry landing stage on the other Cornwall side @10.30.

Route can be reversed if descent path looks slippery on recce , meaning a steep ascent rather than descent.
