Overview

On leaving the car park, we follow the quiet well surfaced lane climbing steadily to join a well defined path. This section will be done at a steady pace stopping along the way to admire views of the surrounding hills and mountains. Walking up Cockit hill we pass the site of an ancient fort with uninterrupted views of the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) national park and walk onto the summit of Mynydd Llangorse. We will then return to the start via the Beacons Way.
