Overview

Starting from the visitor centre we follow the paths by the lakes and old mining relics to Tony waterfall. We then ascend to the ridge above Parc Cwm Darran, passing through ancient oak woodland (Coed Deri-Newydd) for extensive views (on a clear day) before descending to a lunch time stop behind Groes-Faen Terrace. Heading North on, good paths, we pass through Deri on the way back to the visitor centre for optional drinks, snacks & cakes!
