A Ramblers group with walks of about 4 - 6 miles. We explore the beautiful Kent countryside from within the Tonbridge and Malling area and, occasionally, further afield.
A circular walk from Shorne Woods Country Park which is hilly in parts and we have to cross the A2 which you can hear at the beginning and the end of the walk. However, the trail takes in a variety of woods and sights connected to Lord Darnley,including the Darnley Mausoleum and Cobham village. There will be some short stretches of road walking particularly through Cobham village. Cafe in the park at the end or you can go back to Cobham or Shorne where there is a choice of pubs.
