A Ramblers group with walks of about 4 - 6 miles. We explore the beautiful Kent countryside from within the Tonbridge and Malling area and, occasionally, further afield.

A walk for the early risers to hopefully see the sun and hear the birds. It’s a circular walk from Ightham Mote , through Scathes Wood, before taking in far reaching views of the Kentish countryside, through Fairlawne estate and onto Shipbourne before returning to the Mote for refreshments at the cafe. This opens at 10 am so we will make our way slowly round.
It is undulating and there are 10 stiles. We will be walking through fields with livestock so be aware if you intend to bring your dog on a short lead only.
If you are not a National Trust member you must pay for parking and members need to use their card at the machine in the car park.
