A circular walk from the centre of Driffield threading through the streets until we cross the Driffield to Bridlington road and head north up Long Lane then west to Wold Farm. Crossing the Driffield to Langtoft Road we then continue to Elmswell Wold Farm then south along Garton Balk, crossing the Driffield to York Road, turning shortly after to Elmswell Hall Farm. After the delights of Little Driffield the route follows Church Lane then, after crossing the A614, returns to the centre of Driffield via Kings Mill.
Surfaces range from paved to tracks and well worn grassed paths with a chance of adjacent nettles. There may be some mud if the weather has been inclement. With no steep ascents or descents walking poles aren't essential.
There are public toilets at the start/finish point. Parking can be found throughout Driffield, some Pay and Display and some on-street. Cross Hill car park itself is short stay.
Driffield has plenty of cafes and public houses for post walk refreshments.
