This is a linear walk from Dumfries House along the Lugar Water to Ochiltree and then along the fields to the gatehouse of Auchinleck House. Then we walk along the driveway to the Boswell Coach House where it is possible to purchase a coffee. We then return along the same route.
This walk is along good paths with some elevation coming out of the Dumfries House estate but then level for most of the route..
Dumfries House carpark as now got charges in places for residents outside East Ayrshire. If you have a sticker, make sure you have it visible in your car.
Meeting point is at East Ayrshire Headquarters 95 London Road Kilmarnock KA3 7BU where car sharing will be organised.
Starting point will be in the carpark of Dumfries House.
