This is a walk from Strathblane along the pipe track and then uphill through a small wooded area after which we cross the burn then follow the track as it winds along the base of Dumgoyne then we gradually start the climb to the top

As this is a walk by bus it will be limited 16 people which includes the leaders.
This walk is a mixture of road walking, then forest and hill tracks.
The ground under foot can be wet and muddy on the hillside after rain so gaiters, good supporting footwear are recommended also poles if you use them.
There are several gates to go through on the pipe track but all open easily and there is one style to cross after descending from Dumgoyne.
Meet beside destination board in Buchanan bus station at 08.45 to catch the 9.10am X10A bus to Strathblane.
Walk starts from the war memorial in Strathblane after the bus arrives at 10.10am
