This is a walk of two parts. The first part is an easy-going stroll from Dalry Station up to and around the Blair Estate which boasts a castle, well-kept grounds and a waterfall on Bombo burn. We then take a path along the side of a burn to skirt the town of Dalry and join the Lynn Glen trail which features a spectacular waterfall. The path through the Glen on the second part of the walk, although short (about 1.25miles), is rough in places with some steep ascent and descent. After the Lynn Glen Trail we'll head back on the burnside path to the station. In total we will cover about 6 miles.
You can book a place on this walk from Wednesday March 11 by emailing the leader. Please remember to include your mobile number.
Please wear sturdy walking boots or shoes for second part of walk. You might even find a pole useful, particularly if it's been raining.
There is an option at the end of the walk to visit Dalry for refreshments.
Trains back are at 13.08, 13.38 and 14.08 etc
