This circular walk starts at The Hampshire Bowman in Dundridge and we cover an area to the north-east around Droxford Down. There are some great views on route, as we walk through downland and woodland. The tracks are mainly wide and easy walking, but there may be a little mud in the wooded part after the recent rains. There are three stiles at the start and again at the end, and one quite steep incline which is however, short. A few short sections involve walking along quiet roads. If the weather is sunny, please remember hats or suncream. This walk is not suitable for dogs.
Please let the walk leader know if you are coming, as we may start the walk once everyone has arrived.
We meet at the Hampshire Bowman on Dundridge Lane, postcode SO32 1GD. I will collate everyone’s food orders in advance, and provide the list to the kitchen. Payment can be made when we return with any drinks orders. In order to avoid any delay to the walk, it would be helpful if you could browse the menu that I will provide in advance and let me know your order by end of day prior to the walk. Please note that the pub does not open until 11am, so it is unlikely that toilets will be available prior to the walk, but there are a number of suitable places on our route.
