Overview

Meet at Dunham Massey (NT).  Free car park (and toilets) for NT members.  A  very limited amount of roadside parking may be available on Woodhouse Lane (the road opposite the entrance) where it widens into sort of informal 'lay-by' areas, beyond the canal bridge (eg a couple of cars could probably fit where a (different) footpath leaves the road, beyond the bridge).

An easy 5.5 m route - no stiles and the only climb is to get onto the canal towpath.  I suggest we meet on the grassy area just inside the main gates as it is such a large car park.

Route: Brickkiln Lane to the mill/weir, canal towpath (about half the route) from Little Bollington to The Barn Owl Inn, Mill Lane, TransPennine Trail (some cycles!), Barns Lane, Dunham Woodhouses and back to the car park.
