We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A mixed terrain walk, including woodland and open countryside, starting along the Lambourn Valley Way to Eastbury, then south to Woodlands St Mary and returning via Gold Hill.
No booking required,or limit on numbers. Please bring water and refreshment for a mid-morning break.
The walk starts from the East Garston war memorial; please share cars and park in the streets of E Garston, rather than in the cafe car park. Be ready for a 10.am start from there. We shall finish up on foot at Priscilla's cafe, however, for those who want a sweet or savoury lunch.
Park carefully in the village, near the war memorial, from where the walk will start.
