Overview

A circular walk from Hungerford, starting from the Downgate carpark, going along the canal for a short period, then across the A4 to follow tracks to the pretty little village of Chilton Foliat. Crossing the River Kennet there, we continue on tracks and paths back to Hungerford, to St Lawrence Church and then through the Croft Area then back to the High Street and to the finish .

Please bring refreshments for a mid walk break .

Please be aware most of walk is out in the open so wear appropriate clothing for the forecasted weather.

Please park in the Hungerford Common car park next to the Downgate pub. Please car share where possible, as the car park gets busy and is not very big.
