We start from Simmons Park and pick up the Dartmoor Way to walk alongside the East Okement river. A picturesque riverside walk. We head back through the woods, hopefully with some autumn leaf colour.
Riverside path is rocky in places and might be slippy after wet weather. A couple of ascents along the river and a gradual ascent as we head away from the river, through a farm and alongside East Hill from where we head downhill.
We’ll stop for coffee en route. Also an option to stop for further coffee/tea/cake at a cafe near the end of the walk. Dogs on leads around livestock.
