Starting at Weir Quay, we follow the Tamar south with a brisk climb before leaving the road and taking the Tamar Valley Discovery trail past Liphill Quay before climbing through fields near the tip of the peninsula. Coffee will be taken at Bere Ferrers quay overlooking the Tavy at its high tide point. Back towards Bere Alston through Hallowell Wood and then through paths to cross the railway and around the west side of the peninsula before descending a narrow track above the Tamar and joining the road at Holes Hole.
Seating at Bere Ferrers for coffee but no seating where we will stop for lunch.
No toilets on the walk but a cafe at Weir Quay Boatyard as well as toilets
