A moderate circular 10mile walk.
The walk combines a moderate climb to a moorland hilltop and a quaint old village and then a walk through a limestone gorge. The walk takes in Monsal Head, Little Longstone, Longstone Moor, Foolow, Cressbrook Dale, Cressbrook returning to Monsal Head via the Monsal Trail.
With the walk taking place in Limestone country it could be slippery in places if damp.
Unfortunately no dogs allowed due to young cattle in fields
