Overview

Ettington and Combrook.

Start time: 10:00am

Park at Halford road, Ettington, CV37 7TH.

what3 words: sprinkler.official.oasis

Length: 8.75 miles approx.

Total ascent: 490 feet.

This is a pleasant and pretty walk across Warwickshire countryside, starting from Ettington, and going towards the pretty village of Combrook. On the outward leg there is some road walking, and on the return leg from Combrook we will pass the village of Pillerton Hershey.

The walk has a total ascent of 495 feet, mainly small undulations, with only three short hilly sections. As stated there is one section of the walk with some road walking, care needs to be taken here.

There are only a handful of stiles.

Parking: we will park on Halford Road, please car share if you can! If space is tight, there should be room to park on Old Warwick road, opposite Halford Road (the other side of Banbury Road).

There should be some nice views, with lunch at the church in Combrook. If the weather is hot there will be plenty of water stops along the way.

I look forward to seeing you there.
