A scenic hike along and overlooking the Darent Valley. We begin at Otford along the Darent Valley trail towards Shoreham and going left to Robins Wood and Water Lane for Pilots Wood.
We then head to Meanfield Wood for the Samuel Palmer Trail to Castle Road/Castle Farm and Lullingstone Country Park Cafe. This is our lunch stop. Please bring a packed lunch.

After lunch we take the Darent Valley trail; this time going east and passing through Shoreham to Otford to complete our ramble. Whereas we have an ascent of 335 meters before lunch the second part of the walk after lunch is flat along the valley trail.
