This is a varied and meandering circuit running through the glens and corries to the north of Arrochar. It offers fine views throughout of the peaks of the Arrochar Alps and makes for a grand day out.
There will be some boggy sections and there are a couple of steep climbs. Walking boots and waterproofs essential.
You can only book on this walk two weeks in advance ie from 2 August onwards. Once the leader has confirmed you have a place you will be invited to book on the relevant Citylink buses to ensure you get on both going and coming back.
Usual rules apply for this and every other walk. That includes: carry your ICE card; don't come if you have Covid symptoms; and let the leader know if something changes and you can no longer come.
We will travel by bus from Buchanan Street bus station. Please meet at 8.05am to catch the bus which leaves at 8.20am and takes 1hr 12mins. Return buses are at 14.47 (a bit ambitious so probably not) and 17.21. The latter option is the one we'll target and that gives us time to have refreshments and a chat in the local pub or one of the hotels.
Please take plenty to drink and eat as this is a long walk and we will have a few stops.
If any walkers want to drive and meet us at the start of the walk, please get in touch with Yvonne to arrange.
