Overview

We start the walk from St Peters Church Martindale, just past Howtown underneath Hallin Fell, our route will take in 5 Wainwrights, 6 if you feeling fit.

We start with a climb up to Bonscale Pike, from there its fairly level walk over to Arthur's Pike with great views over Ullswater. From here we start a climb to Loadpot Hill & Wether Hill our highest point of the day at 2210ft; at this point we start to descend & turn back down the Valley before crossing over a small stream to then start a climb up Steel Knotts. From here it is all downhill back to St Peter's church, but if you want the Best views of Ullswater we can climb Hallin Fell & bag the 6th Wainwright of the day.
