Overview

We will start at the Shepherd and Flock (Farnham) car park, take the Greensands Way, through Moor Park Nature Reserve, on to Crooksbury Farm, Stone Hill.  Then take the Medieval Waverley trail downhill, over Crooksbury Common to Charleshill. A stop for lunch at The Tarn.  Then proceed over The Tarn through Britty Wood and Puttenham Common to North Downs Way.  Onwards to The Sands, Runfold (past the Princess Royal PH), around Moor Park Farm and back to the start.

We walk in woodlands, country tracks, ancient footpaths, open grasslands and some quiet country lanes.  A hilly walk but not steep.  Some styles.  We will stop for a short break after about 3 miles, lunch break about 6 miles and another short break about 9 miles.

(Shepherd and Flock Public House open from midday to 11pm.  Serving food and drinks.  Outside seating and dog friendly.)
